Where To Find Free Samples

Brands regularly give away free samples, whether trial or full size, to help promote their products. It’s a great way for them to promote their products, by allowing consumers to try things out to see if they like them before they buy. It raises product awareness and also encourages people to go out and purchase the items they find they like. It’s also fantastic for consumers like us to be able to get free samples, as it’s a great money saving idea. It’s also lovely to get these little treats through the post, particularly when we’re being thrifty and saving the pennies.

I love browsing various sites for freebies. Last week was a particularly good week, and I received these freebies through the letterbox.

Jewellery making starter kit – to make your own bracelet (from JewelleryMaker, worth £9.99)

Two food powders from Nuzest: a green superfood and a pea protein (handy as I am about to start working out again at long last)

I also had an email from a local hair salon who were giving away travel size packs of L’Oreal Mythic Oil shampoo and mask. I signed up for my voucher and picked it up at the weekend.

Not bad at all!

There are many sites you can register with which tell you where to find these freebies.

Here are the main sites I visit to hunt for free samples:

Gratisfaction

This site is regularly updated with the latest free samples out there. You can sign up for a daily e-newsletter which updates you with the newest items. I recommend visiting their Facebook page as well, as this is extremely up-to-date and they post new freebies when they find them.

Latest Free Stuff

This site is very similar to Gratisfaction. It’s worth checking both of them out, however, as sometimes the free samples they post about differ. Both sites also run regular subscriber competitions, too.

Magic Freebies

Another site which posts freebie offers on a daily basis. You’ll also find links to competitions with larger website, such as SuperSavvyMe, who give away large quantities of products in their competitions.

Write Directly To The Companies

This is a great tip if there’s something you really want to try from a particular brand. I have had great success sampling products in the past just by sending an email to a company saying I am interested in trying their products. Most brands are happy to hear from potential customers and will often write back.

It’s quick and easy to check the free sample sites every day, and apply for the freebies when you see them.
