If you’re not familiar with the term ‘MSE Blagged’, it’s used when Money Saving Expert (MSE) manages to score some fantastic deals and savings for its readers. With such a huge audience, MSE is able to score some amazing deals for its readers. MSE Blagged deals are savings I really like to take advantage of, as I’ve had some great success with some of their deals. MSE send around a weekly e-newsletter to their subscribers, and their Blagged deals are usually highlighted within.
There have been some great deals lately, and this is one of my favourites so far.
In one of the most recent newsletters from Money Saving Expert, we were told about a deal with Jersey Plants Direct. You could buy two mixed semi-trailing Petunia Magica pre-planted plastic hanging baskets and six lucky dip jumbo bedding plants for £17.99, including delivery. The RRP was £35.97 so I thought this was a really good buy.
I had been planning for months to sort out my hanging baskets. They were in a sorry state on the front of the flat. When I saw this deal come through I decided to go for it, and I’m so glad I did. The hanging baskets arrived within day, and are absolutely packed full of plants. They were easy to set up, and they are doing so well (in part due to all the rain we’ve had in the last few days…despite it being June!).
The plants are great quality and I can’t wait to see them in full bloom, covering the baskets and trailing. They really brighten up the front of the flat. The six bedding plants was a nice addition and I’m planning a little spot on the balcony to plant these.
I’m so pleased with these and really thankful to MSE for running this deal.
